what I love ...  is what I do

i believe,  there is a purpose in this world for every living being...my purpose, I found in art, given to me to fulfill my soul and the soul of the beholder of my artwork.

i have been an artist since I remember,  looking at the little things in life. watching a lizard making pushups on a warm rock in the sun, a frog sitting in the grass calling out for a mate, pebbles on the beach creating  perfect patterns  of nature. a powerful ocean creature breaking the water, flying into the sky.

35 years ago, when i started mosaics. Back then i moved to the states, realizing, not wanting to be a part of the wheel where every days rat race is being performed...its been a long wonderful travel since...in my own wheel, which turns just as fast, but fortunately holding the breaks in my own hands...never missing the wonderful things,  the little things..of a great place, we all have been put on together in a great place.

i was fortune to have been married into an  wonderful artist family, The Packard's 😀,  my then husband and sucessful fishermen Michael Packard, gave me the strengths to believe in  a life with art, the most powerful tool one can have,  is to BELIEVE.

i hope / i wish, this side will give  a smile on your face, and that just for a glimpse, you too will appreciate the little things.

2015 I started the project "second time around"  inspired by the throw away socitiy we became.

mostly the solar - lights, which are thanks to the "salzburger salzachgallerien", lighting up all around the world.  1200 pieces, lots of carwindshields, and spinters in my fingers.

i know they light up someones evening just right now, and i whish it put a smile on someones face.  the thought of it puts one on mine :)
